Studies demonstrating benefit are depicted in blue and those showing no benefit in red. A majority of the trials (and all negative ones) encompassed follow‐up durations of 12 months or less. The included studies are all those listed in the meta‐analysis by Deng et al., and we also added data published since the publication of this meta‐analysis by Hunt et al. AF indicates atrial fibrillation; and CPAP, continuous positive airway pressure therapy.
