Abstract

Faced with the current health challenges associated with heart failure care in France, the use of advanced practice nurses (APNs) represents an interesting response, particularly in the hospital environment. The Outil'IC toolbox, designed to help set up a collaboration between a private practice nurse and a cardiologist, won an award in the 2023-2024 edition of the Outil'IC awards. It draws on the experience of a cardiology practice in Nîmes, France, to offer advice on setting up a practice, as well as a viable business model.
