Abstract

The 2023-2024 Argus Commission was tasked with conducting an environmental scan and forecasting key trends in pharmacy and pharmacy education that may influence the Academy over the next 5 years. This forecast aimed to guide the Academy and member institutions in identifying emerging trends and to serve as a tool for institution-specific strategic planning. The Argus Commission Forecast 2024, presented at the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy annual meeting, represented the culmination of the Commission's work. While recognizing the commendable efforts of the Argus Commission, the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education staff suggested that additional context and discussion could enhance the practical value of the strategic recommendations contained in the Forecast.
