Background: Tumors of the petrous bone pose a significant challenge in radiological diagnostics due to their complex anatomical location.

Objective: This article provides an overview of the imaging characteristics of the most important tumors and tumor-like lesions of the petrous bone.

Zusammenfassung: HINTERGRUND: Tumoren des Felsenbeins stellen aufgrund ihrer komplexen anatomischen Lage eine besondere Herausforderung in der radiologischen Diagnostik dar.

Zielsetzung: Dieser Artikel gibt einen Überblick über die bildgebenden Merkmale der wichtigsten Tumoren und tumorähnlichen Läsionen des Felsenbeins.
