Benign Tracheal Stenosis and Subglottic Stenosis
Abstract
Laryngotracheal stenosis is a narrowing of the proximal airways that can result in significant respiratory ailments. It can occur due to various causes, including iatrogenic causes such as intubation and tracheostomy, inflammatory conditions, and infections. This article aims to provide an overview of benign tracheal and subglottic stenosis, including its diagnosis, etiology, and available management strategies.
