Abstract

Bronchopleural fistula (BPF) is a challenging clinical condition characterized by an abnormal connection between the bronchial tree and the pleural space. This article aims to provide a thorough review of BPF, encompassing its etiologies, clinical manifestations, diagnostic approaches, and treatment options. Current advancements and future directions in BPF management will also be discussed.
