Abstract

Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a chronic immune-mediated disease that extends beyond joint and skin involvement, being strongly associated with metabolic disturb ances and increased cardiovascular risk. Chronic inflammation, adipokine imbalance, and endothelial dysfunction contribute to accelerated atherosclerosis in this population.
