Determination of monoamine oxidase
Abstract
A robust, sensitive and reliable radiochemical assay for monoamine oxidase is described, and the procedures necessary to ensure the validity of the results obtained are discussed. Methods for determining the activities of the two forms of monoamine oxidase, A and B, separately, are outlined and some alternative assay methods are considered.
