Psychoeducational Videoconferencing Interventions: Insights from Informal Caregivers
Abstract
A qualitative systematic review containing 12 studies integrated information on informal caregivers' insights on psychoeducational videoconferencing interventions. Key findings highlight the importance of resolving technical glitches and tailoring interventions to caregivers' unique needs. Recommendations include having standby technical support, follow-up calls, flexible participation times, adaptive educational modules, and algorithms facilitating caregiving groups. These insights may inform future similar interventions and support leveraging medical informatics for caregivers.
