Do's and Don'ts in Osteotomy Surgery
Abstract
Osteotomies around the knee are technically demanding procedures that are indicated for joint preservation and stability. Surgical execution relies on a carefully planned incision, soft-tissue respecting approach, a controlled osteotomy, and definitive stabilization. Intraoperative and postoperative complications are important to recognize and address as they arise.
