Probiotics are currently widely used in clinical practice to prevent and treat a wide range of diseases. The purpose of our review is to highlight what we consider to be the most significant clinical studies on the use of probiotics for preventing antibiotic-associated diarrhea, clostridial diarrhea and pseudomembranous colitis. The article also presents the results of studies confirming the efficacy of probiotics in Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy. The review focuses on Linex® Forte, medicinal product containing the combination of Lactobacillus acidophilus (LA-5) and Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (BB-12).

В настоящее время пробиотики широко применяются в клинической практике для профилактики и лечения большого количества заболеваний. Цель нашего обзора – осветить наиболее значимые, на наш взгляд, клинические исследования, касающиеся применения пробиотиков для профилактики антибиотик-ассоциированной диареи, клостридиальной диареи и псевдомембранозного колита. Также в статье приведены результаты исследований, подтверждающих эффективность пробиотиков при эрадикационной терапии Helicobacter pylori. Особое внимание в обзоре уделено лекарственному препарату Линекс® Форте, содержащему в своем составе комбинацию пробиотических бактерий Lactobacillus acidophilus (LA-5) и Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (BB-12).
