In situ anion-driven reconstruction of NiS for high-performance benzyl alcohol electrooxidation
Abstract
NiS undergoes anion-driven reconstruction, stabilizing Ni2+ and enhancing benzyl alcohol oxidation. This catalyst achieves low overpotential, high conversion, and excellent stability, outperforming Ni2P and NiO. This work establishes benzyl alcohol oxidation as a model anodic reaction for probing reconstruction-driven activity and offers a novel electrocatalyst design strategy.
