Declarations. Ethics approval and consent to participate: In accordance with guidance from the UK Health Research Authority (HRA), this study was exempt from NHS Research Ethics Committee review, as it involved anonymous, non-interventional survey data collected from medical students. No NHS patients, patient data, or clinical interventions were involved. All participants provided informed consent prior to participation. A Participant Information Sheet outlining the study purpose, voluntary nature of participation, and data confidentiality was provided to all respondents. Submission of the questionnaire constituted consent for data use, with explicit consent confirmed via a mandatory first survey question. Participants were able to withdraw their data at any time by contacting the study lead. The study adhered to the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. Consent for publication: Not applicable.
