The occurrence of antibodies against staphylococcal deoxyribonucleases in blood sera from different species
Abstract
An agar gel method for the detection and separation of antibodies against staphylococcal deoxyribonucleases (DNases) is described. Preliminary tests show that such antibodies occur rather frequently in healthy individuals of various animal species. Two to 3 electrophoretically different fractions of anti-DNases were found in individuals of some species.
