[Demonstration of sulphur in secretory granules of anterior and posterior pituitary by X-ray microanalysis (author's transl)]
Abstract
The sulphur content of secretory granules and other subcellular structures in the cells of the anterior pituitary and of neurosecrotory granules in the nerve fibers of the neural lobe have been studied by energy dispersive microanalysis. The highest level has been found in the secretory granules of the neural lobe.
