Abstract

PIP: As of April 1, 1974, Family Planning Association clinics began making available free contraceptives. This has resulted in an increase of patients at the clinics. Some are coming because of the initial and followup examinations and some because the age limits have been removed. Most Family Planning Association clinics are staffed by one doctor on a part-time basis. They are too busy to keep up with new research into contraceptives. Compulsory refresher courses should be required.
