R Wedberg et al. Obstet Gynecol. 1979 Sep.

Abstract

Conjoined twins occur with a frequency of 1/50,000--1/100,000 deliveries. The cephalothoracopagus variety is particularly rare. This paper presents a case report of cephalothoracopagus (Janiceps) twinning, with a detailed pathologic analysis, as well as an historical review and discussion of diagnostic modalities.
