Specific value of computed tomographic breast scanner (CT/M) in diagnosis of breast diseases
Abstract
CT/M study of the breast yields specific information about lesions and may provide the diagnosis when mammography fails to demonstrate the lesion or is unable to display the information necessary to make a definitive diagnosis. By using contrast medium to increase attenuation, very small carcinomas may be identified, even in dysplastic breasts.
