L T Stubbé et al. Arch Chir Neerl. 1979.

Abstract

A case of chylous ascites after resection of an abdominal aneurysm in a 72-year old male is presented. The complication is extremely rare. Therapy should start medically with a diuretic and medium chain triglyceride (M.C.T) diet. This is the ninth reported case of iatrogenic chylous ascites and the second after resection of an abdominal aortic aneurysm.
