Lymphocyte stimulation by autochthonous human solid tumours
Abstract
The validity of lymphocyte stimulation by fresh biopsy cells from autochthonous human tumours as a test reflecting tumour associated immunity is analysed. Various parameters such as immunity, serum mediated blocking and tumour specific non-responsiveness can be measured. The in vivo relevance of most in vitro assays selected for demonstrating tumour specific immunity remains however, to be elucidated.
