An immunofluorescent test for Toxoplasma gondii in tissues

An immunofluorescent test for Toxoplasma gondii in tissues

D D Ourth. Immunology. 1971 Apr.

Abstract

The Toxoplasma monospecific antibody produced by Ourth (1971) was conjugated with fluorescein isothiocyanate. This conjugated globulin made possible the demonstration of Toxoplasma cysts in pepsin-digested tissues of mice infected with a human cyst strain of Toxoplasma gondii.
