Vibration-induced white fingers and manipulative dexterity
Abstract
Banister, P. A., and Smith, F.V. (1972).Brit. J. industr. Med.,29, 264-267. Vibration-induced white fingers and manipulate dexterity. Previous work has shown that Raynaud's phenomenon or vibration-induced white fingers are associated with consistent use of vibrating tools. The present study indicates that significant losses in manipulative skill are also associated with the use of power-driven saws when groups of users and non-users are compared.
