Abstract

Hyperextension injuries of the cervical spine often cause controversies in medical opinions. 113 cases of medical opinions about hyperextension injuries of the cervical spine are analysed. Most of the patients only had non severe distorsions. In many cases it was difficult to get opinion because of missing objective symptoms and degenerative signs.
