[Orchidopexy and fertility]

Abstract

The authors report on experiences which they could prove during the last ten years (1970-1979) in disturbances of a descent of the testis. Particular consideration is given to the orchidopexy in later childhood or adolescence and to fertility. The importance of the right time of operation and the technique of the intervention protecting the tissue are emphasized.
