Cardiac resuscitation in hospital: more restraint needed?
Abstract
KIE: Criteria for in-hospital policies on cardiac resuscitation are discussed. It is suggested that these policies be implemented at the unit or ward level. A list of patients considered unsuitable for resuscitation should be reviewed daily by the unit's medical staff and carried by the nurse in charge of the unit.
