Binding of [3H]ADTN to rat striatal membranes
Abstract
The conformationally restricted dopamine analogue ADTN binds in a specific saturable manner to rat striatal membranes. Analysis of the data suggests a single binding site. Binding of [3H]ADTN is displaced by a wide range of dopamine agonists and antagonists (both typical and atypical). The potency of ADTN derivatives to displace [3H]ADTN correlates well with their activity as agonists in other tests both in vivo and in vitro.
