Gonadotropin receptors in rat during altered testicular function
Abstract
Specific testicular binding of 125I-HCG and plasma levels of testosterone are decreased in rats three weeks after hypophysectomy or adrenalectomy plus thyroidectomy but they are not changed after adrenalectomy or thyroidectomy. The affinity of gonadotropin receptors to HCG is not altered.
