Reconstruction of the floor of the mouth by a free dorsalis pedis flap with microvascular anastomosis
Abstract
A new one stage technique for reconstruction of the floor of the mouth is described, using the free dorsalis pedis artery flap. Five cases are presented in this series, the indications, implications, possibilities and technique of this free flap in the intra-oral region are discussed.
