Abstract

An overview of the medical management of vestibular dysfunction is presented. The lack of firm etiologic and pathophysiologic data on which to base rational treatments is emphasised. Medical management of Meniere's disease is reviewed in depth while that of other vestibular disorders is touched on briefly.
