Prenatal diagnosis. Ultrasound
Abstract
Using ultrasound it is possible to diagnose most congenital abnormalities in the fetus prenatally. In many cases, the early detection of severe abnormalities leads to the termination of the pregnancy but, in any event, knowledge of a defect is vital for the management of the pregnancy.
