Violent kids, violent parents: family pharmacotherapy
Abstract
Violence runs in families, as does lithium-responsiveness. These conditions, which may be concurrent, must be sought in families of violent manic-depressive youngsters. An illustrative case history is presented, in which the child is the identified patient--not only psychologically, but pharmacologically as well--who brings his family, and specifically his father, into much needed treatment.
