Abstract

An anatomical and radioanatomical study of the intracranial branches of the occipital artery is presented and attempt to systematize the muscular branches of the occipital trunk and its vertebral anastomosis. An embryological hypothesis is presented to explain and memorize all the artrial variations of this area.
