Comparison of age-specific mortality from breast cancer in males in the United States and Japan
Abstract
Mortality data on breast cancer in males from the United States and Japan were analyzed. The logarithm of the mortality rate increased in a linear fashion with the logarithm of age and had a slope of about 5. Mortality in Japan was about one-fourth that in the United States, but the relationship to age was similar.
