Agglutination of erythrocytes using lectin-labeled spacers
Abstract
The mechanism of agglutination of human erythrocytes by lectin, studied using lectin-labeled gold granules as spacers (5--64 nm in size), was found to depend upon the size of the spacer but not upon the number and the mobility of the receptors.
