Review of the management of saccular aneurysms
Abstract
Morbidity and mortality from subarachnoidal hemorrhage from ruptured aneurysm is in the vicinity of 60 per cent. Opportunities for improvement in these statistics include more accurate and prompt diagnosis, prevention of rebleeding, treatment of vasospasm, and minimization of surgical and medical complications.
