Transverse computerized axial tomography of patients with posterior dislocation of the hip

C B Ordway et al. J Trauma. 1984 Jan.

Abstract

Posterior dislocation of the hip may be complicated by femoral head fracture at a higher incidence than previously described. Three examples of this fracture deformity are presented. These illustrate the use of computerized axial tomography to identify the position of the fracture fragment and aid in planning the therapeutic approach.
