Successful removal of a giant tentorial meningioma

Abstract

A 225 gm fibroblastic tentorial meningioma was successfully removed by a supratentorial approach. Clinically the case more closely resembled a cerebellopontine angle tumour. Carotid and vertebral angiography should always be performed if the diagnosis of tentorial meningioma is suspected.
