[Article in French]
F Cathala et al. Pathol Biol (Paris). 1980 Oct.

Abstract

The authors update their earlier review (1973) of the unconventional viruses responsible for the subacute spongiform encephalopathies of man and animals. Newer data about the viruses of scrapie and Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease are summarized. The biology and experimental pathology of the diseases are discussed.
