Association of vegetative antigens with the spores of Clostridium sporogenes
Abstract
Clean spores of Clostridium sporogenes stored for two years continued to elicit the production of specific antibodies in immunized rabbits. Disintegrated spores stimulated not only antibodies specific for the spore component, but also those directed against 'H' and 'O' antigens of the sporangium cells.
