Intraluminal jejunal diverticulum

Case Reports

Intraluminal jejunal diverticulum

F Mosimann et al. Gastrointest Radiol. 1981.

Abstract

An intraluminal diverticulum of the jejunum in a 19-year-old man is reported. A congenital diaphragm was bypassed by jejunojejunostomy when the patient was 2 days old. A "ballooning" mechanism of this diaphragm can explain the pathogenesis of the diverticulum.
