Hazards of retained third molars in older persons: report of 15 cases
Abstract
A total of 15 representative cases of retained embedded third molars in persons older than 40 years are presented. Surgical difficulties and postsurgical complications and morbidity that occurred would have been greatly reduced if these teeth been removed earlier in life.
