Abstract

Four cases of Salmonella osteomyelitis in children with sickle cell haemoglobinopathy were seen at a hospital in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. These cases are of interest as the Saudi variety of sickle cell anemia has been previously reported to have a relatively uncomplicated course.
