Abstract
In Tetrathyridia of Mesocestoides corti exist large basophilic cells which are often seen in various stages of mitosis. From their distribution in larvae and from their capacity to form the regeneration blastema after experimental amputation of 2 suckers, it is supposed that these cells are very important for regeneration.
