[Computerized tomography of lumbar radicular processes]
Abstract
The typical CT-findings in lumbar disc herniations, spinal stenosis as well as tumors of the lumbar-sacral region are described. Difficulties in diagnosing recurrent hernias are discussed. We try to establish indications for an appropriate use of this new method instead of in addition to the more conventional neuroradiological investigations (myelography, spinal phlebography).
