Abstract

The influence of transplantable MMTI and LS strain tumors on lung metastasis development was studied. Tumors were induced by subcutaneous injection of tumor cells. It was shown that MMTI and LS subcutaneous tumors inhibit the process of lung metastasis development at different rates: the inhibitory effect of MMTI tumor was higher than that of LS tumor. The inhibitory effect was not tumorspecific. There was no correlation between tumor size and the degree of the inhibitory effect.
