Glomerulocystic disease - a case report with 10 year follow-up
Abstract
The diagnosis of glomerulocystic disease was made by renal biopsy in a one-year-old girl with bilateral abdominal masses. She has been followed for 10 years with normal growth and development, stable renal function (creatinine clearance - 88 ml/min/1.73 m2) and demonstration of persistence of cysts by intravenous pyelogram. This is the first report of long-term follow-up in this form of renal cystic disease.
