Cervical internal carotid artery aneurysm with calcific embolism to the retina
Abstract
A patient with an arteriosclerotic aneurysm of the cervical portion of the internal carotid artery presented with calcific retinal embolization. Aneurysms of the extracranial portion of the internal carotid artery are uncommon, and this mode of presentation has not been reported previously.
