[Study of Salmonellae in sewage of Chambery town: epidemiological relations and efficiency of water treatment plant (author's transl)]
Abstract
An investigation on salmonellae of Chambery sewage has been conducted during a whole year (from July 1977 to June 1978); 563 strains belonging to 36 serotypes have been isolated. Salmonellosis being seldom, one has to admit an important carriage by healthy animals and human beings. The inefficiency of water-treatment plant for these germs has been confirmed.
