Abstract

The problems relevant to the medico-legal responsibilities in the carrying out of the active and passive tetanus prophylaxis does not differ in the practice from that common to each sanitary measure, where the prophylactic treatment shows a "preventive therapeutic" character. As the antitetanus vaccinoprophylaxis belongs to the sanitary compulsory treatments, this stresses particular aspects of responsibility of the physicians and of the public authorities, to whom the task of performing the vaccinoprophylaxis is assigned.
