Abstract

In the high risk patient presenting with jaundice, an 8 millimeter common bile duct stone was diagnosed and extracted by percutaneous transhepatic technique, thereby avoiding operation. The procedure was well tolerated, and the patient free of symptoms during a one year follow-up period.
